Am I the only one who is seriously ready for warm weather and dresses again? Okay, so I may be alone on the dress thing, but I have been feeling like a lizard since the weather finally got cold, and it hasn’t even been that bad. I think we’ve only dipped into the negative temperatures here once or twice, which is pretty mild for Nebraska. We got some snow, but less than expected. My skin, though…dry. It’s dry anyway, but it’s been extra icky for about a month or so.
Luckily for me, Dove was there to save me. In addition to normal dryness, I also “suffer” from keratosis pilaris, which is harmless and not painful at all. It mostly attacks my vanity, but is still annoying when I just want soft, smooth, silky skin like every other lingerie model.
Anyway, Dove had my answer, or part of it, at least. They launched a Winter Care Nourishing Body Wash, which did phenomenal things for my skin. Literally, after one shower the bumpiness on my thighs was almost gone. It’s nothing super fancy or expensive, but the Winter Care line is said to be limited edition, so if you are looking for an affordable body wash to add some moisture to your life, check your local drugstore before March. I think I found it at Wal Mart for around $5 per bottle, and I have two backups in my cabinet. I’m really hoping they bring this back for next year!

I’m self-diagnosed, but my skin is a textbook case. Good luck finding this stuff. I went back to Wal Mart to get more, and the shelf is always empty. I’m buying every bottle I see, though. :)
